Midletsoft is a firm believer in both the open source and open platform communities, as well as encouraging for profit endeavors and being rewarded for hard work. Thus, Midletsoft intends to initiate both open source projects and open platform ones, allowing developers to improve our code (for their use) or create their own applications to run on top of ours.

Java Development

Java developers interested in Bluetooth wireless technologies should consider writing server side applications for Jellingspot Data Server, our Bluetooth platform/container that will allow you to write and deploy Bluetooth applications quickly by taking advantage of its open API. After running through our certification process, you will be able to freely deploy or sell your applications (services) for the Jellingspot Data Server platform.

For more information, please see our Jellingspot Developer Network site at www.jellingspot.net.

C++ Development

C++ developers with Symbian, Palm O/S, and Pocket PC expertise are encouraged to write open source clients or plug-ins for their existing applications that allow users to access the content distributed by Jellingspot Data Servers. You can collaborate with other developers writing similar applications and get information about the Jellingspot access protocol at our developer’s site.

For more information, please see our Jellingspot Developer Network site at www.jellingspot.net.
